Telecommunication Towers

Telecommunication towers are recognized as steel structures designed to support telecommunication antennas. These towers are typically designed in compliance with the latest American or European standards. According to customer requirements, design solutions can be adapted to configurations such as polygon-type or lattice-type with either three or four legs, made of angular or tubular profiles. Tailored to client specifications, towers might be modified with climbing ladders, fall arrest systems, work and rest platforms, lightning protection and earthing systems, antenna brackets, aircraft warning light systems and factory painting and/or paint material supply with different color of options.

Radar Towers

Radar towers are typically designed and manufactured for military, meteorological, and civil aviation industries. These lattice-type are designed to be equipped with features such as stairs, elevator systems as per requirement, specially designed top platforms, and in some cases, control rooms on top of the tower. Additionally, Mitaş Industry leads the industry in designing and manufacturing hybrid towers capable of accommodating not only conventional static antenna loads but also integrating wind turbines and solar panels.

Polygon-Type Telecommunication Poles

Polygon-type monopole telecommunication poles are designed for urban environments and restricted installation areas, due to their simple and space-efficient structure. The multi-sided cross-section provides high structural strength, while the compact form allows for minimal visual impact. Pole body sections can be connected using either internal or external flange connections, or slip-joint assembly methods. As one of the most straightforward and low-maintenance communication tower designs, monopoles are widely adopted in the telecommunications sector.
Each pole is designed based on specific engineering calculations considering height, antenna loading, and environmental factors. Camouflaged monopole options are available for projects where visual integration is required alongside technical performance.
Monopoles can be equipped with aircraft warning lights, lightning protection systems, antenna mounting brackets, maintenance platforms, and safe access systems. Hot-dip galvanization is applied for corrosion protection, with optional electrostatic powder coating available for enhanced durability.
In urban areas with zoning limitations or restricted space, monopoles offer an optimal solution with their small footprint, structural versatility, and ease of installation. Their design allows for quick deployment, adaptability to varying loads, and efficient land use in communication infrastructure projects.
All towers can be configured with optional aviation obstruction lights, lightning protection devices, antenna support systems, maintenance platforms, and secure access systems. Corrosion resistance is ensured through galvanization or factory-applied coatings.
