We take responsibility for future generations

As one of the main elements related to the concept of sustainability, the environment is a fundamental part of our company policy and strategies. We strive to conserve natural resources, reduce pollution and optimize waste management. We use a Life Cycle Assessment approach to monitor the environmental impact of our products and transparently communicate information to stakeholders. We also offer Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for our products.

Emissions

As Mitaş Industry, we measure and evaluate our greenhouse gas emissions by adopting the ISO 14064 standard and strive to understand our environmental impacts and communicate transparently. With our strategy to leave a more sustainable world to future generations, we aim to neutralize our carbon emissions from our business operations, use green energy sources, and reduce our Scope 3 emissions through supply chain analysis and collaboration. We also organize sustainability trainings and awareness programs for our employees to raise public awareness and encourage stakeholder participation in the fight against climate change.

Waste Management

As Mitaş Industry, we carry out our waste management operations in accordance with the Waste Management Regulation legislation, our Integrated Management System Policy and international standards. In line with our sustainability goals and ISO 14001 standard, we ensure that our domestic, industrial, hazardous/non-hazardous wastes arising from our production activities are properly separated and collected at source, reused when possible, stored in accordance with the legislation and finally disposed of by licensed recycling companies with a life cycle approach to reduce resource consumption and environmental impacts.
