In order to realize the sustainability vision, we adopt the Life Cycle Assessment approach to monitor the environmental impacts of Mitaş Industry products and to transparently convey information to stakeholders. We also document the environmental performance of our products by providing Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for steel pole and portal products.
We adopt the ISO 14064 standard in order to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to the fight against climate change. In addition, we reduce our carbon footprint with strategies such as carbon neutralization, use of green energy, supply chain analysis and collaboration. Additionally, we organize sustainability training and awareness programs for our employees to increase public awareness.
As Mitaş Industry, we take an environmentally friendly approach to waste management. We carry out waste management operations in accordance with the Waste Management Regulation and international standards. We optimize waste management through steps such as waste separation, reuse, storage and recycling.
As Mitaş Industry, we positively increase our impact on ecosystems with our determination to protect and promote biodiversity. For this purpose, we create a culture of protecting biodiversity by regularly organizing biodiversity training for our employees. In addition, we reduce energy consumption and protect water resources by following the guidance of ISO 50001 Energy Management System.
